Reviewed 17 September 2026. The Mamba brothers hold the Tuao mayoralty and vice mayoralty; Manuel Mamba moved from the governorship to the vice governorship in 2025. A Batac City court ordered a 90-day preventive suspension on 28 July 2026 and denied reconsideration on 2 September 2026; reporting through mid-September 2026 still shows him presiding, so no current-office badge is given. Rappler reports that former Vice Governor Odi Fausto is his cousin, which joins the Fausto branch to this network. Odi Fausto was convicted of graft in 2022 and perpetually disqualified from office; his son’s 2025 board seat was won by four votes and is under an election protest.
