COMELEC shows Victoria Lao Lim elected mayor of Gasan in 2001, 2010, 2013 and 2019; James Marty won the office in 2025. Philstar reported in 2007 that he had led the national Liga ng mga Barangay for ten years. Board Member Ishmael DP. Lim is from Santa Cruz and no source connects him to this family. Vice Mayor Lidany A. Lao-Baldo shares a middle name with Victoria, but no source states a relationship, so none is drawn.
