Three generations of the clan that has held Caloocan offices since the 1950s: Macario Sr. (mayor 1952–1971) and Alejandro Asistio Fider (mayor 1976–1978), then siblings Boy (mayor), Baby (2nd-district representative, died 20 July 2026) and Aurora (1st-district representative 1992–1995), then Baby’s son Maca (vice mayor 2013–2022), Aurora’s daughter Onet and Baby’s grandson L.A., whose wife Cons succeeded him in the District 2 council. Dean, the 3rd-district representative, is Baby’s son on the strength of a January 2024 Inquirer report (which mislabels Luis as a former mayor; he ran for mayor in 2010 but never held the office); the family’s July 2026 death announcement was posted by Maca and by barangay officials Carl Angelo and Art Asistio as “our beloved father” without naming Dean. L.A.’s parent is likewise unnamed in any source. Jeff Asistio, an Imus councilor and later Cavite board member, said in a 2011 interview that he is Baby’s nephew; that Cavite branch is documented under Cavite and Baby is cross-listed there.
